About Katherine Hansen:
I have been in the Travel Industry since 1982 where I started out in a small, family owned agency in Salem and eventually managed the company's second branch in Salem. In 1989, I moved to the mid-west with my husband and worked for a travel agency in Wichita, Kansas for nine years. In that nine years I traveled extensively throughout the mid-west, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, so I know quite a bit about those states. Then in 1998, I headed back to my home state of Oregon where I was fortunate enough to become a Branch Manager for Azumano Travel in Corvallis. The well-rounded staff averages 15 years in the travel industry. They are a super team of professionals.
My travels throughout the years have taken me to Alaska, New England, California, Washington, Montana, Wyoming, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Cook Islands, Fiji, Denmark, Frankfurt, Iceland, the Hawaiian Islands, Cancun, Nevada, cruised the Western Caribbean, Mexican Riviera, Sea of Cortez, and Alaska. The cruise lines I have sailed on are Holland America, Princess, and Premier (no longer in operation).
You could say I wear many hats, but my priority is customer service. I look forward to assisting you with your travel needs and questions. Never hesitate to give me a call. Katherine Hansen's Blog Posts

Within the layers of green upon green, thousands of species thrive: gigantic ferns, magenta orchids, neon-bright parrots, three-toed sloths,... |

| Jesus lizards, and howler monkeys and iguanas, oh my!
Costa Rica is the poster child for eco-tourism. It has beaches, volcanoes, and rain forests; howler, spider, and white-faced monkeys; sloth’s and coatis; caimans and crocodiles, green tortoises, green iguanas and lizards that walk on water. It has hundreds of species of birds, including toucans, whistling ducks, roseate spoonbills, hummingbirds, parrots, kingfishers, the rare green macaw, and the rarer quetzal. There are a... |
