In the aftermath of September 11, Azumano's president and CEO Sho Dozono and his wife Loen organized a contingent Oregonians and southwest Washingtonians to fly to New York City in a powerful show of emotional and economic support. Nearly 1,000 people made the transcontinental journey that became known around the world as the "Flight for Freedom."
